About Me

My name is Elizabeth, and my journey began in Oslo, Norway, where I grew up surrounded by nature, creativity, and a deep curiosity about the human spirit. In 1991, I moved to the United States as a young bride, carrying with me not only my Scandinavian roots but a lifelong passion for understanding people, healing, and the quiet strength that lives within us all.

My path has been shaped by both education and lived experience — grief, betrayal, rebuilding, and ultimately, transformation. These chapters of my life became the foundation for the work I do today.

I hold a strong academic background in psychology from Norway, and I continued my studies in the United States, earning a Doctorate in Psychology in Metaphysics. My education spans both scientific and spiritual disciplines, allowing me to support others through a truly holistic lens.

I am a certified and registered Bach Flower Practitioner, with a degree in Homeopathic Medicine, Nutrition, and Biology. I also hold a BA in Metaphysical Science, and I am an ordained Metaphysical Minister, Metaphysical Practitioner, and a Certified Narcissist Life Coach.

My work in grief support is deeply personal and deeply trained. I am a certified Grief Counselor, with specialized degrees in Complicated Mourning, Spiritual Intervention in Grief Counseling, and Transformation of Loss. I also support those navigating the heartbreak of losing an animal companion as a certified Pet Loss Grief Counselor.

Creativity is one of my greatest healing tools. Through Art Therapy, I help people express what words cannot hold. I also completed INELDA end-of-life doula training, supporting individuals and families during some of life’s most sacred and vulnerable moments.

My love for animals has always been part of my identity. I am a Master K-9 Professional, educated in Norway and USA, with a degree in Animal Science, specializing in training and behavioral work. Animals have been some of my greatest teachers in presence, trust, and unconditional love. I also rescued dogs and cats in South Texas for 10 years, the hardest and most heartbreaking thing I have ever experienced.

I am also a certified Law of Attraction Counselor, helping people shift their mindset, energy, and inner narrative toward hope, clarity, and possibility.

All of these paths — academic, spiritual, emotional, and creative — come together in the work I do through my Serenity Sanctuary and Grand Canyon Troll Ranch. Every blend, ritual, scent, and handcrafted piece is created with intention: to bring comfort, grounding, and a sense of peace to those who need it most.

When my young son Morten passed away, my world broke open. Grief became a landscape I had to learn to walk through, breath by breath. I searched for a place where my heart could rest, where the weight could loosen, where I could remember how to live again.

The land answered............It called me to the high desert near the Grand Canyon - a place where silence has its own heartbeat, where the wind feels ancient, where the earth holds you without asking anything in return.

Here I found peace,......Here I found breath........Here I found myself again.

I created Grand Canyon Troll Ranch as a sanctuary - a place where grief is honored, where heartbreak is softened, where heavy moments are met with compassion.

My work is rooted in Norway's folklore, and the canyon's stillness. My products are made for people who carry weight in their hearts. My mission is to help others find peace, hope, and happiness again - the way I did.  

My life’s purpose is simple: to help others find light again, even in their darkest seasons.
